This approach was developed by Olga Newman, it is a therapeutic treatment that releases deep tension in the face, head, and neck while calming and regulating the nervous system. It helps the body shift from stress and tension into deep relaxation and balance through bottom-up nervous system regulation.Many chronic issues—such as headaches, TMJ tension, neck pain, and facial tightness—arise from restrictions in the fascia, the connective tissue linking muscles and structures. Over time, stress, posture habits, and holding patterns cause this tissue to tighten, compressing nerves and vessels and leading to pain, poor circulation, and fluid stagnation.
